The Road to Mommyville: July 2013

Month eleven sure was a fun one! Miley conquered so many new milestones including learning how to pull up to a standing position using furniture, crawling like a bear on all fours, handing things to others (sharing), pointing, putting hands on her face for peekaboo, spinning in a circle while sitting, spitting, and giving kisses/hugs. She has been a busy girl and never stops moving. More and more teeth appeared in her mouth during month eleven. I can't keep track any more, as she has no shortage of baby teeth. She is becoming a pro at this teething thing! We also started teaching her how to sign words like hungry and all done! I can't believe how quick she picked up on learning the sign language. Miley has also started repeating words when I ask her to. She is quite the clever girl. Like her Daddy, she also enjoys trying to scare people and likes being scared as well (I know this is not normal! LOL). She says "BOO" as she sneaks out behind the counter and then waits for your startled reaction. It is really funny to watch her because she just cracks herself up laughing. A smile can almost always be found upon her precious little face! She also thoroughly enjoys waving games and says hi and bye to every one she passes. Nona and Papa came to visit her as well. She had so much fun visiting and entertaining both of them. Activities included swimming, going to the park, going out to eat, hiking, and playing. Miley was worn out after all these great adventures with Nona and Papa. Mommy and Daddy also got spoiled with date nights and pampering from Nona and Papa. I got to go shopping and even got a pedicure. What the life! Thank you Nona and Papa for loving on us and for driving all the way to Colorado to come spend time with us!
